Virtual Physician Assistant Bright.md Raises $3.5 Million
Bright.md, which offers a virtual physician assistant, has raised $3.5 million in Series A funding as more technology companies tap into the rising need for medical care, Brian Gormley reports for Dow Jones VentureWire. The company’s service asks patients questions, and the answers are then funneled to the physician in the form of a chart-ready note that contains a suggested diagnosis and treatment plan. The funding for the round came from Oregon Angel Fund, Stanford-Start X and Seven Peaks Ventures.
